Canterbury Tails Farm
The original homestead for Canterbury Tails Farm — the Hardwick, Massachusetts residence of Dr. Rylestone — dates to the 1700s. Its protected forest, open land, and meandering brook provide refuge for a variety of species. It is here that many of the clinic’s wildlife patients are assisted through stages of a slow-release that includes multiple shelters and feeding stations. The farm includes sick bays where patients are tended during nights and holidays when the clinic is closed. Several unadoptable cats enjoy the home’s original parlor, which includes a sunny, screened porch attached to a cat-secure fenced yard.
